Decade is a simple sum-the-cards game. You might win as many as one game in four or better if you pay close attention and don’t miss any moves.

Play

Shuffle the deck and begin laying out cards face up in a row, one at a time. Discard any two or more adjacent cards whose ranks add up to 10, 20, or 30. All royalty (Kings, Queens, and Jacks) count as 10.

Goal

The goal is to discard all cards, or all but one card.

Tips

There’s no strategy to Decade except to pay attention so that you don’t miss any opportunities to score.
